Being one’s own person and standing out from the crowd is great, but we’re wondering if it hasn’t gone a little bit too far. When a clear cell phone case comes out with a realistic-looking piece of fried chicken as its grip, we may have crossed the line from “individuality” to just plain strange.
The variety of options available to personalize your cellphone are numerous. But the “super vivid, 3D” design that this fried chicken mobile phone case appears to have is taking off online. Sold on Amazon for less than $16, it has to one of the strangest of its kind but also one of the more “southern” as well.

The fact that they haven’t come out with a waffle, or a biscuit, or maybe even a nice, juicy, Texas steak grip has us baffled. But perhaps that’s something yet in the market research stage. The chicken wing version covers Iphone5, 5S, SE, 6, 6S, 7, 8, X, 6P, 7P, and 8P, while the chicken leg covers iPhone 7P 8P.
No matter how personalized your cellphone is, or how cool you think this new grip looks, the fact that you can’t text and drive in Texas remains solid.
