Now on tap at the Martin House taproom in Fort Worth, Best Maid Sour Pickle Beer is a thing. And we’re not disappointed. Those who love pickles will agree. This collaboration between two Texas brands is a sweet dill… ’er, deal.

Martin House Brewing Company, makers of Best Maid Sour Pickle Beer, use a sour beer base mixed with sour pickle juice direct from Best Maid Pickles. When combined, it creates a brew that is not only dill-icious (sorry, couldn’t help ourselves) but is also a tart drink sensation which is sure to please! Starting August 13, 2019, the beer will be distributed throughout the state, and it’s said to be only a Texas thing. It contains 5.5 percent alcohol and is bound to make the rest of America “green” with envy! Nice touch, huh?

As part of this cool Fort Worth alliance, Best Maid is releasing its own Salty Lady Beer Pickles. This celebration of the pickle is a tribute to the popular Salty Lady brew (gose, a warm fermented beer with origins in Goslar, Germany) by Martin House, revelling in its fifth anniversary on September 14, 2019. To complement the beer, the Best Maid company incorporated its sour pickle juice with some lemon zest, coriander, and salt to create this unique complement to their namesake beer. These Salty Lady Beer Pickles are said to be available in stores in approximately two weeks, while the Best Maid Sour Pickle Beer is now available on tap at Martin House, located at 220 S. Sylvania Avenue. A huge party celebrating the release of these iconic dill deals will be happening on August 17, 2019, from 12 to 5 p.m. Tickets are priced at $12 for those 21 and over, which includes a pint glass from Best Maid and Martin House Brewing Company, as well as four pours.
