Chefs For Farmers Offers You a Farm-to-Table Dining Experience

Chefs for Farmers, one of Dallas’ most anticipated food and wine festivals, returns November 1-3. Featuring a collection of the greatest and most talented chefs in the local culinary scene, the 7th annual Chefs for Farmers boasts an extensive chef lineup.

Featured chefs are John Tesar of Knife Steakhouse, Joel Orsini of Izkina, Alex Astranti of Uchi and Uchiba, Dean Fearing of Fearing’s, Donny Sirisavath of Khao Noodle Shop, Robert Lyford of Patina Green, Matt Pitman of Meat Church, and Alex Seidel of Fruition Restaurant and Mercantile Dining & Provision. In all, over fifty celebrated chefs are participating in the event.

Numerous breweries, distilleries, wineries, and alcohol vendors also join in Chefs for Farmers. Maker’s Mark, Basil Hayden®, Lange Twins Family Winery, Oyster Bay Wines, Peroni, Willamette Valley Vineyards, Community Beer Co., Tupps Brewery, Whiteclaw Hard Seltzer, Deep Ellum Brewing Company, Wild Acre Brewing Co., and Franconia Brewing Company are included.

The Uchiba Classic: An Experience with Alex Astranti, Misti Norris and Justin Carlisle will be held at Uchiba, 2817 Maple Ave, Floor 2 in Dallas from 7-10 p.m. on November 1. Tickets are $225. You’re invited to join Chef de Cuisine of Uchi Dallas, Alex Astranti, Food & Wine’s Best New Chef of 2019. Misti Norris and James Beard Awards nominee Justin Carlisle will also be featured with this delectable pairings dinner at Uchiba. Guests are certain to savor tasty bites and engage in fun banter with these respected, farm-to-table chefs. The dinner includes elements of education as well as hand-crafted Sake-induced fun.

Southern Bourbon Supper with Scott Gottlich, John Tesar, and Gerald Sombright. Tickets are $150 each for the delicious supper at 18th & Vin e, 4100 Maple Ave. in Dallas on November 1 from 7-10 p.m. Join Chefs For Farmers for an amazing bourbon supper thanks to world-class chefs Scott Gottlich, John Tesar, and Gerald Sombright. It will be a Southern-style dinner with no shortage of fun and flavor, including a bourbon cocktail reception, live music, a cigar roller, and comfort food classics. The chefs will each prepare their signature southern dishes, to be paired with various wine, beer, and spirits. From burnt ends to biscuits, this is a night to remember!
